How do I pick up my car at Kinmen Airport?
We have a fixed counter in the car park shelter just outside the terminal, staffed all day. Turn your phone on after landing and our airport staff will contact you; you can also call the airport line 0965-800-085. Show your booking number, ID and licence and you are usually on the road within minutes. Step-by-step details are on the locations page.
I'm arriving by ferry at Shuitou Pier. Can I pick up there?
Yes. Shuitou Pier is a shuttle point: on your pickup and return days we shuttle you between the pier and our Jincheng office for free. The free seats match the vehicle you rent; each extra person is NT$150 per trip. Call or message us on LINE when you land and we will tell you where to wait. See the locations page.
Can I pick up at the airport and return at the pier?
Yes. One-way rentals between Kinmen Airport, Shuitou Pier and our Jincheng office are free; just choose different pickup and return locations when you book.
What are your opening hours?
Office 08:00–18:00, airport counter 08:10–18:00, every day. Pickup or return after 18:00 costs NT$300 extra and needs to be arranged by phone first. Online bookings can be made for times up to 21:00; the surcharge is added to your total automatically.

Documents & eligibility
What documents do I need?
Bring your ID and original driving licence. Cars and trucks need a Taiwan car licence; scooters and electric scooters need a Taiwan heavy scooter licence. Micro electric two-wheelers need no licence. Renters must be 18 or over.
I forgot my licence. What now?
Sign a licence declaration at the counter and send us a photo of your licence via LINE (@lez7156a) and you can still take the car. We check your ID against the declaration, and the actual driver must hold a valid licence for the vehicle.
Can foreigners or International Driving Permit holders rent?
Under our current policy, cars and scooters are rented only to holders of a Taiwan driving licence. International Driving Permits and foreign licences are not accepted for now. Visitors without a Taiwan licence can consider our micro electric two-wheeler, which legally needs no licence, or ask about our chauffeur and private-driver services.
Prices & payment
How much does a rental cost per day?
Rates are per 24-hour day. Scooters & e-scooters from NT$450 a day, Sedans from NT$1,100 a day, SUVs & 7-seaters from NT$1,600 a day, 8–9 seat vans from NT$2,400 a day, Trucks from NT$2,000 a day. Exact prices depend on the model and dates; the online booking page shows live availability and the total for your dates (the booking flow is in Chinese, see below).
Do I pay in advance?
Yes. Online bookings are paid in full when you book; the reservation is confirmed once payment goes through, and unpaid bookings expire automatically. At the counter you only pay the deposit and anything that arises after pickup, such as late return or extras added on the spot.
How much is the deposit?
The deposit is collected at pickup and refunded when the car is returned and checked. It is separate from the rental fee and varies by vehicle; our staff will explain the amount when you collect the car.
Do you have promo codes?
Yes. The earlier you book, the bigger the discount. Current codes are listed on the Chinese home page; enter one at the last step of booking. Codes cannot be combined and apply to the vehicle rental only, not to extras, after-hours surcharges or overtime.
Cancellation & changes
Can I cancel? How much is refunded?
Cancel 7 or more days before the pickup date for a full refund. Within 6 days we keep 20% of the total. Cancellations on the pickup day, no-shows and early returns are not refunded. Each refund carries a NT$100 handling fee. To change or cancel, call +886-82-323390 or message us on LINE at least 24 hours before your pickup time.
What if my flight is delayed?
Your pickup time follows the airline's published arrival time. If you are delayed, contact us or the airport line and we will adjust to your actual arrival.
How far ahead do I need to book? Same-day rentals?
Online bookings start from tomorrow; for a car today, call +886-82-323390 and we will do our best with what is on the lot. For long weekends and Lunar New Year, book at least 7 days ahead. Online bookings are limited to 60 days per rental and 12 months in advance; ask us for longer rentals.
Returns, fuel & late fees
What should I know about returning the car?
Call us 30 to 60 minutes before returning so we can arrange to meet you. At return we check the car together against the condition record from pickup.
Do I return it with a full tank?
Yes: cars go out full and come back full. If a car is not full, we charge by distance driven from the odometer photo taken at pickup: NT$5 per km for vehicles with 5 seats or fewer, NT$7 per km for larger ones. Scooters returned below full pay a flat NT$200. Most vehicles take 95 unleaded; diesel models are marked on the fleet page. EVs have no fuel charge.
What does a late return cost?
Each hour past the agreed return time costs 10% of the daily rate, part hours counted as a full hour. More than 6 hours late is charged as a full day.
Extras & luggage
Do you have child seats?
Yes, for cars: NT$100 per seat per day, in under-3 and over-3 sizes, up to 3 per online booking (call us for more). Not available for trucks.
Are helmets included with scooters?
Yes, helmets are free. The Kymco S6 electric scooter and the CMC Shine micro EV come with a phone mount; for petrol scooters you can borrow one at the counter.
Can you deliver my luggage to my hotel?
Scooter renters can register luggage delivery at pickup for NT$40 per piece. Inbound: complete pickup before 17:00 and bags reach your hotel by 18:30 the same day. Outbound: your flight or ferry must leave after 11:00. Not available on Lieyu (Little Kinmen). Full terms (Chinese): luggage service terms.
Is there a transfer between the airport and Shuitou Pier?
Yes, charged separately: NT$350 per trip for a small car (up to 4 people) or NT$600 for a large one (up to 7). Please book by phone.
Driving in Kinmen
Anywhere I can't drive?
Mount Taiwu is a restricted military area closed to all cars and scooters; fines are the driver's responsibility. Most sights have free car parks, so parking is easy.
Can I drive or ride to Little Kinmen (Lieyu)?
Yes. The Kinmen Bridge is open, so cars and scooters can drive straight across; there is no need to put the vehicle on a ferry. Little Kinmen's sights also have car parks, and a round trip fits comfortably in a day.
Where do I swap the e-scooter battery or charge an electric car?
The Kymco S6 uses Ionex battery-swap stations across the island; swaps are free. Find them on the Ionex station map or scan the QR code under the scooter's seat. For electric cars, our staff will show you the charging options at pickup.
What happens if there is an accident or breakdown? What do I pay?
Stop using the vehicle, secure the scene, report to the police as required by law and call us straight away; do not settle privately or attempt repairs yourself. Liability, insurance cover, excess and loss of business follow the contract you sign at pickup, the policy and Taiwanese law. Under our current contracts the rental fee includes only compulsory third-party insurance; for cars, the renter covers our repair costs and loss of business after an accident; for scooters, the renter is responsible for theft, collision or negligence damage and for third-party claims, with a total loss charged at the scooter's current value (NT$39,900–63,800 depending on model). We recommend buying extra cover before your rental (see the insurance question above).
Can I smoke in the car?
No. All our vehicles are non-smoking. If a car comes back smelling of smoke or unusually dirty, a cleaning fee applies.
What if the model I booked isn't available?
If your booked model cannot go out for reasons beyond our control, we provide a vehicle of the same or a higher class. You will not be left without a car.
